Jasper A. Queen, Co A

Jasper Queen was the only soldier killed in the engagement with Nathan Bedford Forrest's men at Short Mountain Crossroads, near Morrison, Tennessee on August 29, 1862. He was wounded in the neck and died from his wounds September 27, 1862 at Nashville, Tennessee. He was buried in grave # 5113 in the Nashville National Cemetery.
